Our equipment selection process
Before offering a module or inverter we will always ensure that the manufacturer has a team on the ground here in Australia so that we can address any warranty claims with ease.
It’s important to note that our equipment is very different from the cheap systems that are advertised in the papers and on TV. Those ‘discount’ systems can use equipment that is obsolete, or from manufacturers with no presence here in Australia.
All of the solar panels we offer are classified as Tier 1. This means they are built by leading global manufacturers to meet the highest quality standards.
And it’s not just solar panels that matter; inverters are very important too. In fact, its most often poor quality inverters are the main cause of issues with cheap systems. When the large sales company eventually goes under you are left with a faulty inverter that nobody else will want to touch.
Here’s what makes our equipment stand out:
Equipment that performs well in South Australian conditions
We choose equipment that has a low-temperature coefficient and is designed to withstand higher temperatures. That means a system that will perform well in all weather conditions, including hot South Australian summer days.
Excellent warranty
Our equipment comes with some of the best warranties in the industry. This protects you from any faults and ensures that you can easily get a replacement if needed. And while it’s unlikely you’ll have any problems with your system, our legendary after-sales service means we’ll be there to sort out any issues you have. This reputation is easy for us to uphold because we spend the time building relationships with our suppliers. We deal directly with Canadian Solar, Tesla, Sonnen and Fronius meaning fast, positive outcomes.
Systems that are designed to last
We use solar panels that are designed to perform for a long time. The Canadian Solar “KuDymond” solar panels we offer, for example, have a linear output warranty of 30 years, so you’re guaranteed strong performance well into the panels’ third decade.
At the rate electricity prices are increasing, you’ll be very grateful for that extra output down the line!
The 'would we install it on our own homes' test
Before we offer any new equipment to our customers we ask ourselves a simple question: would we use this equipment on our own homes? Only when the answer to this is a definite YES do we offer the product to our customers.
